ACTIVITIES OF THE ASSOCIATION

IIT Alumni of Canada (IITAC) carries out a number of networking activities to achieve its objectives. The Association organizes social and cultural networking events, professional seminars, publishes a news digest of interest for its members and provides assistance to new alumni coming to Canada through IFI (IITians For IITians) program. Members of the Association meet four to five times a year – at the Family  Dinner in fall, a family picnic at the end the summer, and professional seminars whenever possible. We have also been hosts to visiting professors from IIT Alma maters and have contributed generously to their fund raising efforts.

The Board of Directors of the Association meets often to organize various events - both face to face and electronically through teleconference. For face to face meetings. the members of the Board have meetings at a convenient venue or take turns to host the meetings at their residences. The meetings are either preceded or followed by a potluck lunch or snacks with the families present. The potluck lunch is a fun time and any member of the Association is welcome to attend it.
